If you have an outstanding building permit, please call Village Hall. 

All open building permits require a Certificate of Compliance or 
Certificate of Occupancy to be closed out.

Please read before using our online payment system: 

  1. Before paying, please confirm with the building department you know the exact fee

  2. All credit cards are accepted.  Service fees apply.  Please note: the municipality does not receive any portion of the service fee.

  3. A receipt will be sent to your email address you enter once payment is complete. 

To be submitted along with the
Building Permit Application: 
2 Copies:
                     - Building Permit Application Completed (notarized)
                     - Plans
                     - Survey (recent)
1 Copy:
                    - Contractor Insurance Info.
                      (disability, liability, workers comp. & licenses)
                   - LAC/FAR Worksheet (if applicable)
                   - Photo(s) of existing structures (if necessary) 
When submitting an application, please make sure
it is COMPLETE with all the required documents.  We will not accept documents piecemeal.  
Building Permit Application
Effective May 12, 2020 the NYS Uniform Code and NYS Energy Code will
be updated to the 2020 version.

Please refer to the Building Permit Fee Schedule to see if you require

a building permit.

Certificate of Occupancy/Compliance Requirements


Upon Completion of a project, if your building permit fee was based on

the cost of  construction, you must fill out: 

Final Cost of Construction Affidavit (Certificate of Occupancy Application) 

Zoning Board of Appeals

The Zoning Board meets typically the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:30PM at Village Hall.

All materials (9 copies) should be submitted 2 weeks prior to the Zoning Board Meeting.  

$500 filing fee.



Site Plan Review Board

The Site Plan Review Board meets typically the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00PM at the American Legion Hall.

All materials (9 copies) should be submitted 2 weeks prior to the Site Plan Review Board meeting.

All waterfront properties are required to go to site plan review.

$500 filing fee.  $1,000 Steep Slope Application filing fee.

$2500 Escrow Fee (reimbursable based on attorney and engineer review)
