ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

Notice is hereby given that the meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Huntington Bay scheduled to be held at 7:30 PM on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Huntington Bay Village Hall, 244 Vineyard Road, Huntington Bay, New York 11743 to review the following applications HAS BEEN ADJOURNED TO A LATER DATE TO BE DETERMINED:   

        

 There are four applications before the Board:

 1. Applicant:  Joseph & Toni Cefalu ADJOURNED TO A LATER DATE TO BE DETERMINED

43 Bay Drive West, Huntington Bay, NY  11743

The property is located in the Huntington Bay Zoning District ‘B’.  In order to maintain a building permit for a new enlarged single-family dwelling and detached one car garage, the applicant requires variances for Lot Area Coverage, Floor Area Ratio, Side Yard, and Rear Yard Setback.   This application also requires Site Plan approval from the Board of Trustees.  

 2.  Applicant:  Benjamin Bible & Colleen Krause – ADJOURNED TO A LATER DATE TO BE DETERMINED

The property is located in the Huntington Bay Zoning District ‘D’.  In order to build/renovate an 

existing single-family home, the applicants require variances for Area of Lot, Floor Area Ratio, Lot Area Coverage, Front Yard, Permitted Structures in Front Yard, and Side Yard.  This application also requires Site Plan approval from the Board of Trustees.

3.  Applicant:  Paul & Tracy Posillico  ADJOURNED TO A LATER DATE TO BE DETERMINED

The property is located in the Huntington Bay Waterfront Preservation Zoning District ‘D1’.   In order to construct a new 242 square foot screened porch over existing terrace, new 378 square foot new porch roof over existing terrace, new 817 square foot second floor addition over existing garage, new 896 square foot inground pool, new 451 square foot patio, the applicants require variances for Lot Area Coverage, Front Yard Setback, Side Yard Setback, and Accessory Apartments.  This application requires Site Plan approval from the Board of Trustees. 

4.  Applicant:  Scott and Kristine Grodsky ADJOURNED TO A LATER DATE TO BE DETERMINED

167 East Shore Road, Huntington Bay, NY  11743

This matter is being reheard pursuant to Village law 7-712 a (12).  The property is located in the Huntington Bay Waterfront Preservation Zoning District ‘C1’.  In order to construct a new stairway, fixed pier, ramp, and floating dock, the applicants require a variance for Front Yard.  This application requires Site Plan approval from the Board of Trustees.
