PUBLIC NOTICE

ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

 

Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Huntington Bay will hold a public hearing at 7:30 PM on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the American Legion Hall, One Mill Dam Road, Halesite, NY  11743 to review the items that are properly before it:

  1. Applicant:  Kenneth Delaney

                   12 Wincoma Drive, Huntington Bay, NY  11743

The property is located in the Huntington Bay Waterfront Preservation District ‘C1’.  In order to construct a new deck, new pergola, new steps, and platform, the applicants are seeking variances for Lot Area Coverage, Floor Area Ratio, Lot Area Coverage, Front Year, and Items Permitted in Front Yard.  This application will also require Site Plan and Steep Slope approval from the Huntington Bay Board of Trustees.

  1.  Applicant:  Vincent & Janet Vitiello

                    32 Baycrest, Huntington Bay, NY  11743

The property is located in the Huntington Bay Waterfront Preservation Zoning District “C1”.  In order to construct two new entry piers, the applicants are seeking a variance for Front Yard.  This application will also require Site Plan approval from the Huntington Bay Board of Trustees.

  1.  Applicant:  Malvern Burroughs

        11 Beaux Arts, Huntington Bay, NY  11743

The property is located in the Huntington Bay Waterfront Preservation Zoning District “C1”.  In order to construct a pre-fab pavilion on an existing patio, the applicants require variances for Width of Lot and Front Yard.  This application will also require Site Plan approval from the Huntington Bay Board of Trustees.

  1.  Applicant:   Stuart Acker

                     One Shore Drive, Huntington Bay, NY  11743

The property is located in the Huntington Bay Waterfront Preservation Zoning District ‘B-1’.  In order to construct first and second floor additions and a portico, the applicant requires variances for Floor Area Ratio, Lot Area Coverage, Front Yard, Permitted Structures in Front Yard, Side Yard, and Height.  This application also requires Huntington Bay Board of Trustees Site Plan approval.
