BOARD OF TRUSTEES

 

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Huntington Bay will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 7:00 PM at the American Legion Hall, One Mill Dam Road, Huntington, NY  11743 to hear a public hearing and all items that are properly before it.  

                                                                                                       

1.  Applicant:  Joseph & Toni Cefalu

43 Bay Drive West, Huntington Bay, NY  11743

The property is located in the Huntington Bay Zoning District ‘B’. In order to amend a modification of a previously-approved site plan including the residence, garage, retaining wall, grading, and front year improvements, the applicants require Site Plan approval from the Huntington Bay Board of Trustees.

2.  Applicant:  Malvern Burroughs

11 Beaux Arts, Huntington Bay, NY  11743

The property is located in the Huntington Bay Waterfront Preservation Zoning District “C1”.  In order to construct a pre-fab pavilion on an existing patio, the application requires Site Plan approval from the Huntington Bay Board of Trustees. 

3.  Applicant:  Edward Glakin  

30 Bay Drive West, Huntington Bay, NY  11743

The property is located in the Huntington Bay Zoning District “B”.  In order to construct a foyer addition with new platform and steps to grade, kitchen addition over garage space, expand and modify the driveway as required, and add a new drywell, the applicant requires Site Plan approval from the Huntington Bay Board of Trustees.  

4.  Applicant:  Stanton and Susan Sloane

5 Heckscker Drive, Huntington Bay, NY  11743

The property is located in the Huntington Bay New Harborside Waterfront Preservation Zoning District “D1”.  In order to restore a retaining wall in a steep slope, the applicants require Site Plan approval from the Huntington Bay Board of Trustees.

5.  Applicant:  Stephen & Elizabeth Benjamin

23 Sydney Road, Huntington Bay, NY  11743

The property is located in the Huntington Bay Waterfront Preservation Zoning District “C1”.  Pursuant to Huntington Bay Village Code 71-2C, the applicants are required to make an application for review and approval of a sign.

6.  Applicant:  Cablevision Systems Huntington Corporation – Huntington Bay

Please take notice that the Mayor and Village Board of Trustees of Village of Huntington Bay will hold a meeting to afford all interested parties the opportunity to be heard concerning the renewal of the franchise of Cablevision Systems Huntington Corporation in the Village of Huntington Bay.  Copies of the proposed franchise renewal agreement are available for review in the Village Clerk’s Office at 244 Vineyard Road, Huntington Bay, NY  11743.
