Community Watershed Meetings - Members of the public are invited to attend a meeting hosted by the Suffolk County Department of Health Services for the Long Island Sound Study North Shore Embayments Watershed Management Plan. The watershed plan will address the entire north shore of Suffolk County, but will focus primarily on the target sub-watersheds of the Huntington/Northport Bay complex, Nissequogue River, and the Stonybrook, Port Jefferson, and Mt. Sinai Harbors.

The meetings will be held February 16 at 1p.m. in the Huntington Town Hall, Town Board meeting room and February 17 at 1p.m. at the Stony Brook University Campus, Endeavor Hall room #120. Please call the SCDHS Office of Ecology at (631) 852-2077 for additional information.
