Zoning Board of Appeals- September 15, 2011

Mr. Cavanagh called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.  He stated that there are two (2) public hearings on the agenda.

Mr. Antonucci read the criteria by which the Zoning Board of Appeals makes its determination.

Public Hearings:

Frank and Norma DeCesare, 28 Bay Crest
Mr. Cavanagh read the public notice.  Neal Hoffman, architect for the applicant gave a brief history of the property and then presented the application to demolish an existing dwelling and construct a new dwelling in its place with a pool and surround. Letters from Mrs. Janet Vitiello and Mr. James Brick, abutting neighbors, were read into the record.  The hearing concluded at 8:30pm and remains open in order for the applicant to submit additional information.  A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

Rosewood Development, 20 Heckscher Drive
Mr. Cavanagh read the public notice. Eric Fauser presented the application to construct a two car garage with a connecting breezeway, an in ground pool and pool surround, a rear patio and a front entrance portico.  A letter from Mr. Robert Dykes was read into the record.  Neighbors appeared in opposition to the application.  The hearing was closed at 9:45p.m.  A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

The Board discussed the applications presented.

A motion made by John Williamson to approve the July minutes was seconded by John Woodward and approved 3/0.   Mr. Antonucci did not vote as he did not attend the July meeting. 

With no further business to be brought before the Board, Mr. Prior closed the meeting at 10:00p.m.
