Mayor Morrow opened the meeting at 7:30 pm. There are two public hearings this evening.
Chief’s Report
Chief Hubbs delivered the report to the board.
Public Hearings
Local Law No. 6 of the year 2008, Amendment
to Village Code Regarding Stop Intersections
To designated as a four-way stop intersection
and stop signs intersection of Bay Avenue, Harbor
Hill Road and Bay Avenue and Beaux Arts Lane. A motion
was made by Dennis Gai and seconded by John McCusker
to approve with the condition that the hedges at the
corner in question be trimmed in conformance with
Village Code. The hearing closed at 7:45 p.m. A transcript
was taken by Laura Pinto.
Peggy and Wayne Sansiviero, 42 Bay Drive
West.
Wayne Sansiviero presented the application to construct
a deck addition and interior alterations and to legalize
the existing house and detached frame garage site
plan review is required. The hearing closed at 7:51
p.m. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.
Attorney’s Report
Mara Manin discussed her report with the board.
Administrator’s Report
Lynn Pincomb delivered her report to the board. There
are four (4) unpaid taxes to date. A request was made
by the Wincoma Association to install a stop sign
on the corner of Woodland/Wincoma/East shore roads.
A public hearing will be held next month to that effect.
The Terra Mar Association requested that a ‘Slow
Children at Play’ sign be installed at their
expense on Terra Mar Drive. A motion was made by John
McCusker and seconded by Jay Meyer to approve the
sign. Snow plowing invoices will be mailed next month.
Road Commisioner’s Report
Dennis Gai delivered his report to the board. There
have been several meetings with Bay Hills and tours
of the roads for drainage at twelve (12) locations
for storm drains. Storm drains will be installed within
the next several weeks.
Financials/Bills
The Board reviewed the interim financial statements
from September and the list of bills and, after review,
questions and discussion, a motion was made by John
McCusker to approve the list of bills and the interim
financial statements for August which was seconded
by Dennis Gai and unanimously approved. A motion was
made by John McCusker to approve the list of bills
and the interim financial statements for October which
was seconded by Dennis Gai and unanimously approved.
Minutes
A motion made by John McCusker to approve the September
minutes was seconded by Jay Meyer and unanimously
approved.
Executive Session
The Board entered into executive session at 8:46 p.m.
to discuss the PBA Contract and other personnel matters.
At 9:00pm with no further business to be brought
before the Board the meeting was closed.
