Zoning Board of Appeals November 30, 2006

Mr. Prior called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. There is one public hearing on the agenda.


Public Hearing: Kim & Janice Schillig, 266 Huntington Bay Road, to construct new patios, entrance pillars and walkways and to legalize a kitchen alteration that was begun without a permit having been applied for and is the subject of a current Stop Work Order, the applicant requires a variance for Front yard, Side yard, and Items permitted in set back areas. Mr. Prior read the public notice. Neal Hoffman, architect for the applicant, presented the application pertaining to the kitchen alteration. Mr. Hoffman explained that the applicant intended to install a new decorative transom window and construct a reverse gable to accommodate. Louis Contino, Louis Contino Landscaping, Inc. came forward to present the landscaping proposal which would include new patios, new walkways and entry gates. The hearing was closed at 7:55 p.m. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

The Board discussed the application that was presented.

Minutes
A motion was made by Mr. Cavanagh to approve the October minutes, seconded by Ms. Aquilina and unanimously approved.

Next month’s meeting will be held on Thursday, December 14.

With no further business to be brought before the Board, Mr. Prior closed the meeting at 8:15p.m.
