Mayor Morrow opened the meeting at 7:30 pm. There
are no public hearings this evening.
Police Chief’s Report
Chief Hubbs delivered his report to the board. A
new police car was ordered and should arrive in
the next four to five weeks. New York State Division
of Criminal Justice (DCJS) will only accept electronic
fingerprints after January. Chief Hubbs is in negotiation
with the Northport Police Department to use their
Electronic Fingerprint machine by the January deadline.
Administrator’s Report
Lynn Pincomb delivered her report to the board. There
are three Zoning Board of Appeals hearings this
month. The yearly Workers Compensation audit is
complete. New stop signs and no parking signs have
been installed. New York State Retirement System
is now requiring that payments be made electronically.
A motion was made to approve the electronic payments
to the NYS Retirement System by Jay Meyer, seconded
by John McCusker and unanimously approved.
Attorney’s Report
Mara Manin discussed her report with the Board.
Financials/Bills
The Board reviewed the interim financial statements
from October and the list of bills and, after review,
questions and discussion, a motion was made by
John McCusker to approve the list of bills and
the interim financial statements for October which
was seconded by Dennis Gai and unanimously approved.
Minutes
A motion made by John McCucker to approve the October
minutes was seconded by Dennis Gai and unanimously
approved.
Executive Session
The board entered into Executive Session at 8:25
p.m. to discuss contract negotiations. Executive
Session closed at 9:06 p.m.
At 9:06 pm, with no further business to be brought
before the Board the meeting was closed.
