Minutes Zoning Board of Appeals May 18, 2006

Mr. Glackin called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. There are four public hearings on the agenda.

Public Hearing – Pergola – 37 Heckscher Drive – Lot Line Modification
At 7:30p.m., Mr. Glackin read the public notice. Chris Pergola came before the Board to request relief from variances from the side yard setbacks. The Pergolas bought the property next to 37 Heckscher Drive, 341 Bay Avenue and would like to increase their lot size so that 341 Bay Avenue can not be subdivided and two houses built. At 7:45p.m. the public hearing was closed. The transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

Public Hearing – Yohai – 19 Terra Mar Drive – Masterbedroom, Kitchen & Porch
At 7:45p.m. Mr. Glackin read the public notice. Neal Hoffman, R.A. came before the Board to request variances for the floor area ratio, front yard setback and for the existing driveway. The proposed project is a 487.2 square foot addition. At 8p.m. the hearing was closed. The transcript for this hearing was taken by Laura Pinto.

Public Hearing – Kmiotek – 285 Bay Avenue – Family Room
At 8p.m., Mr. Glackin read the public notice. Robert Kmiotek came before the board requesting a variance for a corner lot and the existing driveway which is in the side and rear yard setbacks. This hearing was closed at 8:10p.m. The transcript for this hearing was taken by Laura Pinto.

Public Hearing – Goodrich – 289 Vineyard Road – New Home
At 8:10.m. Mr. Glackin read the public notice. Alex Latham, R.A. came before the Board to request relief from setbacks, height and lot width. The proposed application would demolish the existing house and build a new 5000 sq. ft. house on the lot. This hearing was closed at 9:15p.m. The transcript for this hearing was taken by Laura Pinto.

The Board discussed the applications that were presented. The board voted on the decisions from last month.

A motion was made by Mr. Cavanagh to approve the April minutes, seconded by Mrs. Aquilina and unanimously approved.

With no further business to be brought before the Board, Mr. Glackin closed the meeting at 9:20p.m.
