Mayor Morrow opened the meeting at 7:30 pm.
Chief’s Report
Chief Hubbs delivered the report to the board. The State Police Accreditation Unit will be honoring the police department at a ceremony in Albany. Chief Hubbs and Police Officer Jack will be attending the event on behalf of the Village. Suffolk County is looking to institute a payback system for detective services for Villages. Chief Hubbs will keep the board abreast of the situation.
Mayor Morrow discussed reducing the Village’s fines for parking tickets. A public hearing will be held next month.
A discussion took place regarding the addition of secondary districts in the Waterfront Preservation district. Mara Manin Esq. and Richard Kinch will continue to work together and report back to the board at a future date.
Attorney’s Report
Mara Manin discussed her report with the board. The Board engaged in an extensive discussion about the revision of the code relating to LAR and FAR.
Administrator’s Report
Lynn Pincomb delivered her report to the board. There are five (5) Zoning Board applications this month. The tax bills will be mailed out this week.
Financials/Bills
The Board reviewed the interim financial statements and the list of bills and, after review, questions and discussion, a motion was made by John McCusker to approve the list of bills and the interim financial statements which was seconded by Dennis Gai and unanimously approved
Minutes
A motion made by Don Rave to approve the February minutes was seconded by Jay Meyer and unanimously approved.
At 9:05 pm with no further business to be brought before the Board John McCusker made a motion to close the meeting and was seconded by Don Rave.
