Village Attorney: Mara Manin

Mr. Prior called the meeting to order at 7:30p.m. He stated that there was one public hearing on the agenda this evening.

Ms. Manin described the criteria by which the Zoning Board of Appeals makes its determination.

Public Hearing:
Donald T. Rave, 49 Taylor Road.
Mr. Prior read the public notice. Steve Meehan, a landscape architect, explained the plan to demolish an existing fire damaged home and build a new wood frame dwelling. James Keller, an architect, explained that the new house will be shingled with a wood shingle roof. The tower on the new dwelling is within ± one foot of the height of the existing tower. Mr. Keller noted that the changes in the new dwelling will visually soften the dwelling. The hearing was closed at 8:15p.m. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

Decision:
The board discussed the application. A motion to approve the application was made by Ron Prior, seconded by Jay Cavanagh and unanimously approved.

Minutes from February could not be approved as there was not a quorum of members who were present at the February meeting.

Information was presented about the SCOVA annual training session and members were reminded the Village code requires yearly training.

With no further business to be brought before the Board, Mr. Prior closed the meeting at 8:30p.m.

Respectfully Submitted
