Zoning Board of Appeals - March 20 , 2008

Mr. Cavanagh called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. He stated that there were five applications on the agenda this evening.

John Woodward read the criteria by which the Zoning Board makes its decisions

Public Hearing:
Diane Martinez, 3 Lower Drive, Huntington Bay
This is a hearing continued from February 13, 2008. Ms. Martinez had the drain reopened at the corner of her property and will grade the questionable area. The hearing closed at 7:35 p.m. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

Morris Sendor, 17 Locust Lane, Huntington Bay
Mr. Martin presented the application to construct a pool and patio in a location different from that which was previously approved. The hearing closed at 7:50 p.m. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

Gloria Guido, 269 Huntington Bay Road, Huntington Bay
Mr. Guido presented the application to construct a terrace, additional landscape and hardscape. The hearing closed at 8:00 p.m. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

Roger and Mary Fay, 16 Beach Drive, Huntington Bay,
Mr. Fay presented the application to construct a first floor wraparound porch, a second floor deck and sunroom and an observation loft. The hearing concluded at 8:20 p.m. but remains open until next month. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

James Sheuchenko, 36 Taylor Road, Huntington Bay
Mr. Rodler presented the application to reconfigure an existing driveway and add a light pier at the end of the driveway. The hearing concluded at 9:11 p.m but remains open until next month. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

The Board entered into Executive Session at 9:15 p.m. to review the current Zoning Codes. Executive session closed at 9:25 p.m.

John Woodward made a motion to approve the minutes of February 13, 2008 which was seconded by Anthony Antonucci and unanimously approved.


With no further business to be brought before the Board, Mr. Cavanagh closed the meeting at 9:35p.m.
