Minutes, Zoning Board of Appeals, June 23, 2005

Present:
Ed Glackin, Acting Chair
Ingrid Spatt
Jay Cavanaugh

Village Attorney: James F. Gesualdi
Village Building Inspector: Richard Kinch
Village Administrator: Lynn Pincomb

Mr. Glackin called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m. There is one matter before the Board tonight.

Public Hearing – Rave - 49 Taylor Road - Addition & Renovation to Garage Apartment

Mr. Glackin read the public notice and called upon the applicant. Glen Grayson, A.I.A, came before the Board representing Donald Rave requesting relief from Chapter 91, Article III, Section 91-11. F. (3)(d) stating that in his opinion the relief sought was de minimis and given the architectural constraints of the existing structure he believes this design is the most unobtrusive possible. The hearing was closed at 8:05 p.m. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

Mrs. Gwendolyn Spaulding, 3 Shore Drive, asked to address the board regarding recent applications. After explaining there were no other matters before the board tonight and therefore nothing to act on, Mrs. Spaulding decided to put the matter in writing to be delivered to the Village at a later date. Whereupon Mrs. Spaulding left the meeting.

The Board discussed the application that was presented.

A motion was made by Mr. Cavanaugh to approve the May minutes, seconded by Dr. Spatt and unanimously approved.

With no further business to be brought before the Board, Mr. Glackin closed the meeting at 8:30p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Lynn Pincomb
