Minutes Board of Trustees June 9, 2008

Mayor Morrow opened the meeting at 7:35 pm. There are two public hearings this evening..

Public Hearings
LL 4-2008 - Amendment to Village Code Regarding Penalties for Offenses for Parking and Failure to Obtain Overflow Parking Permit.
Motion was made by Dennis Gai to adopt Local law #4 and was seconded by John McCusker and unanimously approved. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

LL 5-2008- Amendment to Village Code Regarding Other Penalties
Motion was made by Dennis Gai to adopt Local law #5 and was seconded by John McCusker and unanimously approved. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

Chief’s Report
Chief Hubbs delivered the report to the board. The police department was honored at a ceremony in Albany. Officer Jack and Chief Hubbs attended the ceremony on behalf of the village.

Attorney’s Report
Mara Manin discussed her report with the board.

Administrator’s Report
Lynn Pincomb delivered her report to the board. There are four (4) Zoning Board applications this month. Tax bills have been mailed. To date, there have been 199 payments of property taxes. The election will be held on June 17, 2008. The fiscal year ended on May 31, 2008. 

Financials/Bills
The Board reviewed the interim financial statements and the list of bills and, after review, questions and discussion, a motion was made by John McCusker to approve the list of bills and the interim financial statements which was seconded by Dennis Gai and unanimously approved

Road Commissioner’s Report
Bay Hills drainage project is being worked on. The village will be going out to bid for a sweeping company.

Minutes
A motion made by John McCusker to approve the May minutes was seconded by Don Rave and unanimously approved.
 
At 8:40 pm with no further business to be brought before the Board the meeting was closed.
