Mayor Morrow opened the meeting at 7:30 pm. There are two (2) Public Hearing this evening.
Chief’s Report
Chief Hubbs delivered the report to the Board. There were no major incidents in the Village on July 4th. Multiple unlocked cars in the village have been entered, with items stolen. Chief Hubbs has advised the board that all residents should keep their cars locked.
Public Hearing:
Michael & Carol Allen, 5 Locust Lane
Bob Chernack presented the application to legalize a one (1) story addition to an existing dwelling, construction of which was begun without benefit of a Building Permit and is the subject of a Notice of Violation/Stop Work order issued on April 7, 2010 and to legalize a living room fireplace built without a Building Permit and the subject of a Notice of Violation, to legalize an existing shed and a driveway addition,
construct a one story addition with basement space and to legalize a brick patio, and walkways. The hearing ended at 7:55 p.m. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

Jim Murphy and Larry Rubinsen presented the application to reconfigure and replace the existing pool, pool surround and filter room deck and to legalize the following: concrete wall by cabanas, nine (9) cabanas and fiberglass awnings, wood decking at the cabanas, wood stairs and stairs landward of the concrete sea wall, a frame shed located on pool surround, fixed wood pier with frame shed, tidal ramp, two (2) sections of floating piers and eight (8) timber piles, a railroad tie wall, all asphalt surfaces, open Permit number 0980 for a snack bar addition, a stone patio at club house, the club house with portico, a metal garage, a stone walk, a concrete patio at cottage, open Permit number 0212 for addition an to a cottage, open Permit number 5-58-59 for the cottage with rear wood porch, roof over concrete porch and enclosed porch, fence enclosed concrete dumpster pad for compactor, concrete retaining wall, concrete slab, frame building by tennis courts, four (4) tennis courts, and a plastic shed by the tennis courts. Attorney’s Report
Mara Manin discussed her report with the Board.
Administrator’s Report
Lynn Pincomb delivered her report to the Board. There is (1) Zoning Board hearing this month. The Village’s annual audit will be conducted.
Cablevision Resolution
A motion was made by John McCusker and seconded by Jay Meyer and unanimously approved, to place a notice in the Long Islander for a public hearing regarding the Cablevision franchise agreement.
Financials/Bills
The Board reviewed the interim financial statements from June and the list of bills and, after review, questions and discussion, a motion was made by John McCusker to approve the list of bills and the interim financial statements for May which was seconded by Jay Meyer and unanimously approved.
Minutes
A motion made by John McCusker to approve the June minutes was seconded by Jay Meyer and unanimously approved.
Executive Session
The Board entered into Executive session to discuss personnel matters and the police contract. Executive Session ended at 8:50 p.m.
At 9:00 pm, with no further business to be brought before the Board the meeting was closed.
