Mayor Morrow opened the meeting at 7:33 pm.  There is one (1) Public Hearing this evening.

Chief’s Report
Chief Hubbs has requested an exemption from New York State from the unfunded mandate that requires the Village to purchase its own LiveScan fingerprint machine.  The Village is negotiating the usage of Northport Police Department’s machine.

 The new police car is expected to be delivered in February.

Public Hearing:
Local Law No. 1 of the Year 2010
A public hearing was held to readopt Chapter 91 of the Code of the Village of Huntington Bay entitled, “Zoning”.  The hearing closed at 7:40 p.m.  A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.   A motion was made by Don Rave to approve the Local Law, was seconded by Jay Meyer, and unanimously approved.

Attorney’s Report
Mara Manin discussed her report with the board. 

Administrator’s Report
Lynn Pincomb was not present at the meeting. 

Financials/Bills
The Board reviewed the interim financial statements from December and the list of bills and, after review, questions and discussion, a motion was made by John McCusker to approve the list of bills and the interim financial statements for December which was seconded by Jay Meyer and unanimously approved.

Minutes
A motion made by Jay Meyer to approve the December minutes was seconded by John McCusker and unanimously approved. 

At 8:20 pm, with no further business to be brought before the Board the meeting was closed.
