Mayor Morrow opened the meeting at 7:35 pm. There
are five public hearing this evening.
License Agreement
Neal Hoffman presented to the board a license agreement
between Brian and Elisabeth Madden and the Village
of Huntington Bay to maintain a retaining wall on
village property. A motion was made by John McCusker
and seconded by Don Rave and unanimously approved
upon submission of a Certificate of Insurance in a
form acceptable to the Village Attorney.
Public Hearings
Local Law 1-2009 entitled “Amendment
to Village Code Regarding Legislative Intent and Purpose”
A motion was made by John McCusker and seconded by
Dennis Gai to adopt Local Law 1-2009 and unanimously
approved. The hearing closed at 7:50 p.m. A transcript

Local Law 2- 2009 entitled “Designation
of districts”
The hearing concluded at 8:20 p.m and will remain
open for discussion at the March meeting. A transcript
was taken by Laura Pinto.
Local Law 3 – 2009 entitled “Amendment
to Village Code Regarding District Regulations
The hearing concluded at 8:35 p.m. and will remain
open for discussion at the March meeting. A transcript
was taken by Laura Pinto.
Local Law 4- 2009 entitled “Communication
Towers and Communication Antennae”
The hearing closed at 8:50 p.m. A motion was made
to amend and adopt Local Law 4-2009 to read Local
Law 2-2009 by Dennis Gai and seconded by Jay Meyer
and unanimously approved. A transcript was taken by
Laura Pinto.
Local Law 5 – 2009 entitled “Amendment
to Village Code Regarding Definitions of “Structure”
The hearing closed at 9:00 p.m. A motion was made
to amend and adopt Local Law 5 -2009 to read Local
Law 3-2009 by Don Rave and seconded by Jay Meyer and
unanimously approved. A transcript was taken by Laura
Pinto.
Attorney’s Report
Mara Manin discussed her report with the board.
Chief’s Report
Dennis Gai delivered the report to the board. The
police department received a grant to purchase a license
plate scanner.
Resolution to re-adopt the Multi-Jurisdictional,
Multi-Hazard Plan
A motion was made by John McCusker and seconded by
Don Rave and unanimously approved to re-adopt the
Multi-Jurisdictional, Multi-Hazard Plan.
Administrator’s Report
Lynn Pincomb delivered her report to the Board. There
is one (1) tax payment outstanding. If it remains
unpaid, a lien will be sold in March. There are no
Zoning Board of Appeals hearings this month.
Financials/Bills
The Board reviewed the interim financial statements
from January and the list of bills and, after review,
questions and discussion, a motion was made by John
McCusker to approve the list of bills and the interim
financial statements for January which was seconded
by Dennis Gai and unanimously approved.
Road Commissioners Report
There are no updates to report at this time.
Minutes
A motion made by John McCusker to approve the January
minutes was seconded by Don Rave and unanimously approved.
Executive Session
The Board entered into executive session at 9:50 p.m.
to discuss the PBA Contract and other personnel matters.
At 10:01 pm executive session was closed, and with
no further business to be brought before the Board
the meeting was closed.
