Minutes Board of Trustees February 11, 2008

Present:

Herb Morrow, Mayor
Dennis Gai, Deputy Mayor
Don Rave
Jay Meyer

Village Administrator: Lynn Pincomb
Village Attorney: Mara Manin

Mayor Morrow opened the meeting at 7:35 pm. There are no public hearings this evening.

Chief’s Report
Chief Hubbs delivered the report to the board. There was no major activity in the month of January. Ron Scarlett with be charged with moving the speed signs to designated locations in the village.

Resolution to enter County Lawsuit
A resolution was passed to allow Mayor Morrow to join the lawsuit with other villages and towns against the County regarding public safety and revenue sharing at a minimum cost of $500.00 and a maximum cost of $1000.00

Attorney's Report
Mara Manin discussed her report with the board.

Administrator's Report
Lynn Pincomb delivered her report to the board. As of date there is one (1) unpaid property tax. A letter was sent via certified mail to the homeowner. A tax lien sale will be held on March 11, 2008. There are four (4) Zoning Board applications to be heard this month.

Resolution for Cold War Veterans Exemption
A motion was made by Don Rave and seconded by Jay Meyer to approve the Cold War Veterans Exemption for tax relief.

Financials/Bills
The Board reviewed the interim financial statements and the list of bills and, after review, questions and discussion, a motion was made by Dennis Gai to approve the list of bills and the interim financial statements which was seconded by Jay Meyer and unanimously approved

Executive Session
The Board went into Executive Session at 8:45 pm to discuss pending litigation. Executive session closed at 8:50 pm.

Minutes
A motion made by Dennis Gai to approve the January minutes was seconded by Jay Meyer and unanimously approved.

At 8:53 pm with no further business to be brought before the Board Dennis Gai made a motion to close the meeting and was seconded by Jay Meyer.
