Mayor Morrow opened the meeting at 7:40pm. There are no public hearings this evening.
Mayor Morrow nominated John Woodward to fill the ZBA seat that was vacated by Ed Glackin. After discussion a motion to appoint John Woodward was made by Don Rave, seconded by Jay Meyer and unanimously approved. Mr. Woodward’s term will run through June 30, 2011.
Chief’s Report:
Chief Hubbs delivered his report. As part of the requirement for State Certification, new rules and procedures will be implemented effective in January. The new 4WD police vehicle will be picked up this week. To supplement the $10,000 grant from DCJS Chief Hubbs has applied for and received $25,000 from the District Atty. office. These funds are specifically for the purchase and installation of computer systems for the patrol cars. Chief Hubbs will provide more specific cost estimates next month.
Attorney’s Report
Mara Manin discussed her report with the Board.
Administrator’s Report
Lynn Pincomb delivered her report to the Board. The Justice Court software program was installed, we will soon have the link installed between the Police and the Court so that ticket and summons information can be downloaded directly to the court program..
Financials/Bills
The Board reviewed the interim financial statements and the list of bills and, after review, questions and discussion, a motion was made by Mr. McCusker to approve the list of bills and the interim financial statements which was seconded by Mr. Gai and unanimously approved.
Minutes
A motion made by Mr. Gai to approve the November 14th minutes as amended was seconded by Mr. McCusker and unanimously approved.
Roads
Mr. Gai reported that the Bay Crest & Bay Hills phase of the drainage project went out to bid. Fourteen companies requested bid packages and six were returned. The sealed bids were opened on Friday 12/8. The bids are being evaluated. As part of our general road maintenance crack sealing will be started on the Village roads this week. A letter was sent to residents suggesting the placement of reflective markers to mark the edges of their property for the snow plows.
Mayor's Report
The police agreement will be voted on by the arbitration panel and then distributed to the Village and the PBA.
At 9:00p.m. with no further business to be brought before the Board a motion was made by Mr. Meyer to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Mr. Rave and unanimously approved.
