Zoning Board of Appeals, December 16, 2004

Ed Glackin called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. There are three hearings this evening.

Public Hearing – Iarrobino – 14 Kanes Lane
Mr. Glackin read the public notice. Bill Iarrobino came before the Board and presented his application for two sheds that were built without the benefit of a building permit. The application is before the board because the sheds were built in the of a side yard setbacks. The hearing was closed at 8pm. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

Public Hearing – Baylis/Porco – 90 East Shore Road
Mr. Glackin read the public notice. Robert Caputi, Esq. presented his application to the Board to remove the existing house and build a new house in a different location on the property. The application has changed since it was presented to the Board in October. The applicant is now asking for a second driveway from Castle Harbor Road. The hearing was closed at 8:35pm, The Board will reserve their decision until this application is heard by the Planning Board for a steep slope permit. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

Public Hearing – Lefkowitz – 1 Shore Drive
Mr. Glackin read the public notice. Neal Hoffman, R.A. came before the Board to present the application to add a dormer, change the siding and windows, as well as alterations to the cabana. This application will also be heard by the Planning Board because it is in the Waterfront Preservation District. This hearing was closed at 9:45p.m. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

The Board discussed the applications that were presented.

With no further business to be brought before the Board, Mr. Glackin closed the meeting at 10:15p.m.
