Mayor Morrow opened the meeting at 7:35 pm. There are three public hearings this evening.

Chief’s Report
Chief Hubbs delivered the report to the board. The State Police Accreditation Unit will be at Village Hall from Tuesday thru Thursday for the Accreditation review. Chief Hubbs is looking into the cost to install the speed sign at Village Hall and will report his findings to the board next month.

Public Hearings:
Applicant: Todd Mitchell
11 Harbor Hill Road, Huntington Bay, NY 11743
Mr. Mitchell presented his application to convert an existing family room to a garage and an existing garage to a family room. The hearing concluded at 7:54 p.m. A motion was made to approve the application by Dennis Gai and seconded by Jay Meyer and unanimously approved. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

Applicant: Roger and Mary Fay
16 Beach Drive, Huntington Bay, NY 11743
Mr. Fay presented his application in order to maintain a hedge at a height greater than 30 inches on the corner of Beach Drive and Shore Drive. The hearing concluded at 8:05 p.m. A motion was made to approve the application by John McCusker and seconded by Don Rave and unanimously approved. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

Mara Manin discussed her report with the board.

Public Hearing:
2007-2008 Budget
Mayor Morrow presented the proposed budget to the Board of Trustees. The hearing closed at 9:00 p.m. A motion was made by John McCusker and seconded by Jay Meyer and unanimously approved to adopt the 2007-2008 Budget with the provision that it can be amended at the May Board of Trustee meeting.

Administrator's Report
Lynn Pincomb delivered her report to the board. The assessment role is finalized. There are five (5) Zoning Board applications to be heard this month.

The Board voted 3/0 to reject each of the applications that the Village received for tax assessment reductions.

Election Inspector Resolution – A motion was made by Dennis Gai and seconded by Jay Meyer and unanimously approved to elect Dorothy Oehlmer and Geraldine Baum as the 2007 Election Inspectors.

Date/Location Resolution – A motion was made by John McCusker and seconded by Jay Meyer and unanimously approved to set the Village Election date as June 17, 2007 at Village Hall.

Road Commissioner Report
Dennis Gai delivered his report to the board. The survey for Bay Hills will be ready next week.

Financials/Bills
The Board reviewed the interim financial statements and the list of bills and, after review, questions and discussion, a motion was made by John McCusker to approve the list of bills and the interim financial statements which was seconded by Dennis Gai and unanimously approved

Executive Session
The Board went into Executive Session at 8:25 pm to discuss the police contract. Executive session closed at 9:25 pm

Minutes
A motion made by Jay Meyer to approve the February minutes was seconded by Don Rave and unanimously approved.

At 9:40 pm with no further business to be brought before the Board Jay Meyer made a motion to close the meeting and was seconded by Don Rave.
