Minutes Board of Trustees April 16, 2007

Mayor Morrow opened the meeting at 7:40pm. There are 3 public hearings this evening. 

Chief’s Report:
Chief Hubbs delivered his report. This month, there have been 41 Summonses issued and 87 police reports filed to date.

Attorney’s Report
Mara Manin discussed her report with the Board.  

Public Hearing-Gary Deluca-291 Vineyard Road Huntington Bay NY
To construct interior structural alterations on a property located in the Waterfront Preservation District. A motion was made by Don Rave to approve the application and was seconded by John McCusker and was unanimously approved. The hearing was closed at 8:50pm. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

Public Hearing-Steven Wilkenshoff-32 Hecksher Drive Huntington Bay NY
Steve Meehan, landscape architect presented the application to construct an in-ground pool, pool surround, patios, retaining walls and pool equipment and to remove a tree within a covenanted area and replace 2 trees that had already been removed from a covenanted area and replace with similar plantings.  This hearing to remain open until the board is in receipt of letters in support from surrounding neighbors. Public Hearing-2007-2008 Village Budget
The budget was presented to the board and John McCusker made a motion to adopt and was seconded by Jay Meyer and was unanimously approved. The hearing was closed at 9:17pm. A transcript was taken by Laura Pinto.

Administrator’s Report
Lynn Pincomb delivered her report to the board. There were 4 applications presented for the Zoning Board this month. The storm drains have been cleaned. The Village Election Day is Tuesday, June 19th from 12-9pm here at Village Hall.

Financials/Bills
The Board reviewed the list of bills and, after review, a motion was made by John McCusker and was seconded by Jay Meyer and unanimously approved.

Roads
Roads are being swept on April 23rd and all village road potholes will be filled. The survey work for the Bond Act is almost complete.

Minutes
A motion made by Jay Meyer to approve the March minutes and seconded by Mr.McCusker and unanimously approved.

At 10:15 with no further business to be brought before the Board a motion was made by Mr. Meyer to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Dennis Gai and unanimously approved.
